Working with others
Wood Farm School has been designated as a National Support School by the Department for Education, and the Head teacher is a National Leader of Education. We work with other schools to provide support and training and development, in those areas where we have particular experience and expertise.
Some of those areas include:
- A strong track record in helping children make the best possible progress regardless of background
- Providing effective support to vulnerable learners with an inclusive approach
- Strategic leadership particularly around planning and implementing change for improvement

David LewinExecutive Head teacher
David Lewin
David is a National Leader of Education, and has almost twenty years' experience in the successful leadership of schools in areas of high Pupil Premium uptake.
He works with colleagues in a number of different schools as part of the local authority's school support offer, including some schools in an Ofsted category of concern.

Hannah BartonDeputy Head teacher
Hannah Barton
Hannah is a Specialist Leader of Education. As Deputy head she leads on Quality of Education, Pupil Premium, and vulnerable learners. She has lots of experience as a former SENCo and Y6 teacher.

Louise HolmanDeputy Head teacher
Louise Holman
As Deputy head Louise currently leads on our school strategy for attendance and engagement, and the development of RSE. She also has teaching experience in both key stage 1 & 2, including in Y6. She is a Mathematics Specialist Teacher, and has previously worked with schools across a partnership of primaries to support maths improvement.

Gail ConnellyDeputy Head teacher
Gail Connelly
Gail holds the National Award for SEN coordinators. She has extensive experience of working effectively with social care and other agencies to provide support for families and vulnerable children. She has considerable experience in the effective leadership of safeguarding.

Natasha AshwinLead for Professional Learning
Natasha Ashwin
Natasha is a Specialist Leader of Education, with particular experience in the leadership of assessment, teacher development and Pupil Premium provision. She has worked extensively in our school on our programmes for NQTs and for the on-going development of established teachers. She has over 10 years' experience as a teacher and school leader.

Anna NealAssistant Head teacher
Anna Neal
Anna is a Specialist Leader of Education. She is an Assistant head teacher, with particular experience in supporting Early Career Teachers. Anna has worked with different schools, providing training and classroom support, and has current experience in the leadership of Catch-up programmes, and remote learning approaches.

Sarah FellowsMathematics Leader
Sarah Fellows
Sarah is a Specialist Leader of Education, and a Mathematics Specialist Teacher (MaST). As well as teaching in Year 6 and leading mathematics across the school she has experience of working with colleagues in other settings to raise standards in maths, and has particular experience in supporting children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
We work closely with our colleagues in Oxfordshire County Council and the Oxfordshire Teaching Schools Alliance to provide tailored support for schools looking for input in their school improvement work.
