Headington Schools Multiplication Challenge

International School Award

We are very proud to have been awarded the full International School Award, from the British Council.  The award recognises our outstanding work in promoting international links across our curriculum, the strength of our partnership with Adelaide Primary School in South Africa, and the ways that we celebrate the strength of diversity in our school community.  You can discover more about our international partnerships by visiting our International Links page.

'Your ability to embed internationalism into clearly defined areas of your curriculum in such an apparently effortless manner clearly demonstrates your commitment to introducing and maintaining excellent practice across the board.' Assessors' comments

Investors in People Bronze

We were first accredited as an Investor in People in 2005, and we are delighted to have been recognised ever since - most recently as a Bronze Investor.  Investors in People is a highly regarded quality mark for organisations that reflects commitment to staff development and learning.

Our assessment report says: 'Wood Farm School has excelled at...providing a true learning environment for its staff as well as for its pupils.

What is on offer [in staff learning] is impressive.'

Oxford in Bloom 2014 - 2016

Giving children the opportunity to grow and cook healthy food came first when we asked parents to help us draw up the Wood Farm Commitment, so developing our gardening activites has been an important part of the last twelve months!  We were thrilled to win the Silver Award in the schools section of Oxford in Bloom in 2014, and most recently a Merit Award for the children's 'sensory garden'.

Oxford Spires Primary Public Speaking Competition 2014 - 2016

Taking the subject 'Inspiration' as their theme Michaela, Shon and Dufuwaa delivered an outstanding set of speeches - at times moving and funny - at this year's primary public speaking competition that made them well desrved overall winners of the competition.

Excellence in Oxfordshire Awards

We were one of a number of schools in Oxfordshire to be presented with the Excellence in Oxfordshire Award in 2012, in recognition of the overall improvements in our school as recognised by Ofsted during 2011-12.
