Wood Farm Primary School

Wood Farm Primary continues to be good... and is moving from strength to strength

Wood Farm Primary School was most recently inspected in May 2017.

In May 2017 we received a short inspection from one of Her Majesty's Inspectors of schools.  This was the first short inspection carried out by Ofsted since our school was judged to be good in June 2012.

Your dedicated leadership inspires all who work around you to work tirelessly for the best for all pupils at Wood Farm School.

In the letter published following its most recent visit Ofsted praises the leadership of our school, the dedication  and determination of the staff, and the successful work we have undertaken to ensure that 'all pupils can achieve well'.  The inspector noted that pupils at Wood Farm School typically achieve well, and praised our work with children from disadvantaged backgrounds: 'Leaders pay close attention to this group of pupils.  Their very high aspirations, to ensure all can achieve well, ensure differences between the achievement of disadvantaged pupils and others are now diminishing.'

You ensure there is a strong safeguarding ethos at Wood Farm

The inspection commented on the good work we do to ensure that children are kept safe - and to ensure children learn how to keep themselves safe.
