World Book Day

Thursday March 2nd 2017 was World Book Day, and across the school  we joined in with celebrating books and reading.  After a special assembly we had lots of different chances to enjoy reading during the day, with younger and older children pairing up across classes and special 'Drop what you're doing and read!' sessions.

Of course lots of people came dressed as their favourite book characters for the day, and there were some prizes for the best costumes.  We finished the day with one of our popular book-swaps, in the school hall.
