Visit from Andrew Smith MP

Andrew Smith visited the children in Years 5 and 6 this week, to launch their Mock Election project.  He talked to the children about the work of an MP and shared with them lots of interesting facts about parliament and how the House of Commons works.  He was also joined by Damian Fantato, a journalist from The Oxford Mail, who talked about how newspapers cover politics and answered lots of the children's questions.
