National Teaching Awards - Silver winner

We were delighted to hear that Emma Pallant has been recognised with a Silver Award for Outstanding New Teacher of the Year in this year's Pearson National Teaching Awards. Chosen from thousands of nominees across the country, she will now be in with the chance of winning the highly desired Gold Award, which will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony in London and on BBC One’s The One Show later this year.

Miss Pallant has been teaching in Year 1 at Wood Farm since September 2022, when she joined us as a new class teacher. She is one of many exceptional teachers and staff members at Wood Farm, and she received her winner's trophy at our staff achievements celebration this month. The whole school community is now excited to follow her progress in the award finals.
