Journey Project - February 2017

On Monday 20th February we started our latest whole-school literacy project, this time themed around the book 'Journey' by Aaron Becker.  Journey is a story without words, and over the next two weeks we'll be exploring some of the ideas it raises - like friendship, freedom, and journeys of the imagination - through our writing, artwork and drama.

We launched our project with a special assembly, and by releasing 100 balloons at 11:00 0n 20/02/17 - each with a return tag from three children! (Our balloons, the tag and the ties were all chosen to be bio-degradable).  If you find one of our balloons please send the tag back to us: we'd love to know how far our balloons travel on their journeys!
