'All pupils get a top-quality education'
Ofsted inspected our school on the 8th and 9th November 2022, and the full report has now been published. The inspectors' judgement is that Wood Farm School is Good in all areas, and Outstanding in leadership and management.
The inspection followed more than two years of challenge from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, and inspectors praised the quality of education that all children at Wood Farm Primary School receive - and the hard work of all staff to ensure that no child is left behind:
‘Ambition, beauty and connection’ sit at the heart of pupils’ education at Wood Farm. Through these core values, leaders are truly aspirational for every child. They transform pupils’ life chances through removing barriers to ensure all pupils get a top-quality education. Staff teach pupils self-belief and how to interact positively with others. This enables pupils to produce high-quality work.
They noted the safe and caring atmosphere in the school, the excellent work from the very first days of school to ensure children make a strong start, and the positive behaviour across the school:
Classrooms are calm places where pupils eagerly get on with their learning and are rarely distracted. Relationships between staff and pupils are warm-hearted.

There is camaraderie among everyone, and pupils see the good in all.
