Our Classes

We have 14 classes in our school, with two classes for each year group starting at Reception (4 and 5 year olds) and going up to Year 6 (10 and 11 year olds).  Classes are organised so that there is a balanced mix of boys and girls and abilities.

Each class is taught by a teacher and currently all of our classes are supported by one, and sometimes more than one, teaching assistant.

Classes work closely together in teaching teams, each with a senior member of staff who is the team leader: Reception; Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2); Lower Key Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4); Upper Key Stage 2 (Years 5 and 6).
