Wood Farm Primary School

Learning

pupils on carpetAt Wood Farm School we believe that the best learning happens when children are able to immerse themselves fully in what they are doing: learning activities should be fun and engaging, and should build on children's natural curiosity.

There are things that we all want children to know and understand by the time they leave primary school - important information and knowledge that will help them to succeed in the next stage of their education and to understand the world.  At the same time there are skills and values that children need to have in order to reach their full potential - skills like solving problems, collaborating with others and adapting to change.

On the pages in this section of our website you can find out more about learning at Wood Farm School, and how we organize our curriculum.  You will also find more information about particular approaches to learning - such as sport and PE, and our work with international partners.
